Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF’s)

Active participation in an Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) is essential to your involvement and connection within Harbour Shores. They each provide wonderful opportunities for in depth Bible study and discussion, they offer opportunity for fellowship activities, they create an avenue for you to connect personally and relationally with others in the body of Christ, and they can be a network and means for you to receive spiritual help, encouragement and prayer. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to grow in your knowledge of God and deepen your fellowship with other believers!

Please Note: All ABF’s meet regularly on Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:15 a.m.

Family Life Center, The Mountain Climbers ABF:

The Mountain Climbers ABF meets on Sunday mornings in the Family Life Center (FLC). The Mountain Climbers ABF is so named because it is our desire to draw close to God in an ever-deepening communion of intimacy like that of Moses in Exodus 33. J. Oswald Sanders said that, “Both Scripture and experience teach us that it is we, not God, who determine the degree of intimacy with Him that we enjoy. We are at this moment as close to God as we really choose to be.” As a group of committed followers of Jesus Christ this is our desire and pursuit!

Presently, we are involved in a 28 week study of the major doctrines of the Bible. Our teacher, Don Jennings, wrote the 165 page workbook that we are using for this study. To date, over 240 adults have gone through this study here at HSC. All glory to God!

If you are new to Harbour Shores, or if you do not already attend an ABF, we invite you to join with us each Sunday morning.

The deacons who serve in the Mountain Climbers ABF are: Josh Leonard, Brad Myers and Tim Snyder.

Romans is the most comprehensive declaration of the gospel of God in all of the New Testament. Come and join in as they learn how to “daily appropriate the gospel” into their lives by, studying the believers relationship to sin (the believer and the penalty of sin; the power of sin; the pattern of sin; the presence of sin; the prevention of sin). They also spend the first Sunday of the month fellowshipping around a hearty breakfast with the remainder of the hour spent in prayer for each other. They would love to have you join them so that together you can practice the “one anothers” in loving obedience to God’s Word.

John 20:31
...these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. NASB

In addition to meeting each Sunday morning at 9 am, we also meet in a monthly family fellowship on the third Friday of the month.  Please join us at any time.  Indeed, we have joy in the Lord.
