Don Jennings, |
Don Jennings has had the joy of serving as Senior Pastor at Harbour Shores for 27 years. From the beginning of his ministry, Don’s desire has been to establish the church with a solid Biblical foundation based on the faithful verse-by-verse exposition of the Word of God. Don sees God’s hand all over the ministry here with a unique blend of passion for Jesus, a love for the Word, and a desire to see lives changed. God is at work here, and Don is thrilled to be a part of igniting a passion to follow Jesus! In addition to his responsibilities of preaching, leadership and vision-casting, Don is an international missions conference speaker, and a frequent teacher at the Italian Theological Institute in Sicily. Following in the steps of his grandfather and father, Don represents three successive generations of pastors in his family. Larry O'Brien, |
Larry O’Brien was born April 4, 1945. He worked in the business world until 1994. His last job in the business world was as a vice-president at CMW, Inc (previously P.R. Mallory). God called him to ministry on January 1, 1994. Since that time he has served in many capacities but primarily as a Biblical Counselor and Business Administrator for Harbour Shores Church. Larry and his wife, Yvonne, were married in 1972. They have three sons: Derek who was born in 1975, Sean who was born in 1977, and Kyle who was born in 1981. They also now have two granddaughters and one grandson. Larry has an Associate and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Purdue University and an Associate and a Bachelor Degree in Theology from Christian Bible College and Seminary. He also has a Master’s and a Doctorate Degree in Divinity from Christian Bible College and Seminary. Stephen Schultze, |
Stephen Schultze completed his undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University in December 1991. Lora and he were married in July 1992 and moved to Waterloo, Iowa where they served on staff at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church and Academy. Stephen began his service there as the High School Science instructor, later serving as the Youth Pastor from 1994 to 1999, while coaching High School soccer, basketball and track. In 1999 the Lord directed the Schultze family to Noblesville and Harbour Shores Church. Stephen, Lora and their three children love Harbour Shores and living in Noblesville. Stephen currently serves as an Associate Pastor for Student Ministry & Local Outreach while continuing to work towards his M.A. in Christian Studies through Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL) and serves on the Indy Youth Committee. Chris Fritz, |
Chris Fritz has been serving as the associate pastor over worship/music ministries since January of 2007. Chris is originally from northern California but later moved to southern California to attend The Master’s College. He graduated from there in 2002 as a Church Music Major with an emphasis in piano and a minor in Bible. He is currently working on his M.A. in Christian Studies through Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. In addition to overseeing music/worship ministries, Chris teaches in an ABF that meets Sunday mornings and Tuesday nights called “The Village Fellowship”. Joe Futrell, |
Joe has been a member of Harbour Shores for over 19 years and has served faithfully as an elder for many years. He and his wife Ruth live in Fishers and have three adult children: Travis, Amy and Tina. Joe served in the U.S. Army Field Artillery as a 1st Lieutenant in the Vietnam War. He has a BS in Marketing from Ball State University in Muncie and a MBA from Lewis University in Lockport Illinois. Joe works in sales and marketing for Barth Dental Laboratory and as an adjunct professor for Indiana Wesleyan College of Adult Professional Studies. Joe leads in the “Seekers ABF” which meets in ABF Room #1. Joe and Ruth also lead in the Sunday night outreach ministry called “Prayer on the Porch”. Don Burdick, |
Don Burdick was born and raised in New York State. Upon graduation from high school he became a student at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina where he graduated from the school of Business Administration. For years he was involved in various manufacturing businesses serving in financial areas. All the years in business found him involved in his local churches --- teaching and superintending Sunday School, budgeting, treasurer and other ministry roles. Eventually he was called into full time ministry as church business manager and administrator serving in two different churches. Presently he travels extensively as Field Representative and Coordinator of Estate and Financial Planning for Shepherds Foundation Inc. Shepherds is located in Union Grove, Wisconsin and specializes in ministering to adults that are Developmentally Disabled. Since 2004 Don has conducted his responsibilities from Noblesville Indiana and has been part of the Harbour Shores church family. He serves on the elder board, Missionary Council, and Personnel/Compensation Committee. He and his wife, Helena, are members of the Berean ABF. Don and Helena have two sons and five grandchildren. Dan Kandel, |
Dan Kandel and his wife, Wendy, have been attending Harbour Shores for over 18 years. For past 11 years, Dan has served faithfully as an elder overseeing Men’s Ministry, the Juvenile Center Ministry, Discipleship and Dan also serves on the missions committee. Dan and Wendy have been married now for 35 years and have two children, Jason and Kelly, and 4 (soon to be 5) grandsons. Both Dan and Wendy are actively involved in The Berean ABF and several times a year Dan steps out of his ABF to teach the “Equipping the Saints” class. Dwight Lindman, |
Dwight Lindman and his wife, Celeste, have been at Harbour Shores since 1995 and has served as an elder since 2006. Throughout his time at HSC, Dwight has been active serving in children’s ministry, singles ministry, missions, Jr. High Youth Group, Crown Financial Ministry, Walk of Repentance, Music/Worship Ministries and in the “Living Water” Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF). Steve Kester, |
Steve and his wife, Nyla, have attended Harbour Shores since 1990. Steve serves as the elder over Children’s Ministries. In addition to that, he teaches and leads in the Alpha Adult Bible Fellowship. Steve earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology at Letourneau College. He and Nyla have one son who is currently attending Purdue University. Steve Carter, |
Steve Carter and his family have been a part of Harbour Shores since 1999, serving in many areas such as music ministry, Pathway to Maturity Courses, Awana and as a part of the deacon body. Steve has been an elder since 2006 and serve with the Finance and Personnel & Compensation Committees. In addition to these responsibilities, Steve teaches and leads in the C.L.A.S.S. Charlotte Prough, |
Charlotte Prough has served as secretary for Harbour Shores for 20 years. She is grateful to God for calling her to this ministry and loves serving her church family. A former high school teacher, she taught French to home-schoolers in the church for eight years before “retiring” from teaching. Charlotte and her husband, Dave, have three grown children and seven grandchildren and have served together in the church nursery ministry for many years. Scott Lewis, |
Scott Lewis has been Facilities Manager at Harbour Shores since 1998. He graduated from Vincennes University with an A.S. in Electronics Technology in 1983 and does a phenomenal job overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of all the buildings, facilities and grounds here at Harbour Shores. Patty Paxton, |
Patty Paxton enjoys serving as a part time secretary at HSC. Her responsibilities include database entry, especially related to church attendance and offering, as well as other miscellaneous tasks.
