Couples Mentoring Couples:

In the day and age we live in, marriages are constantly under attack. Broken homes are often the norm, divorce is common (even in the church) and godly examples are hard to find. Jeff and Sherri Kishpaugh will be offering a new discipleship class called "Couples Mentoring Couples" starting in the fall during the normal PTM time on Sunday evenings. This will be a 2-year commitment with the understanding that each couple who participates will then disciple one or more couples after the two years have ended. The "bar has been set high" for this class and anyone interested should review the course Commitment and Curriculum before applying to be part of the class. Remember, we are commanded by our Lord to "in our going, make disciples." The gospel is not a one-time decision, it should be "bearing fruit and growing" in each of our lives, young and old in the faith.

New HSC-101 Class:

A new HSC-101 class begins Sunday morning, Sept. 12, and will meet for five consecutive Sun. mornings at 9 a.m. in classroom #9 behind the baptistry. This class is for those interested in church membership or who want to learn what Harbour Shores Church is all about. It is also the frist step for those wishing to join our fellowship. Look for the signup sheet in the foyer.

Fall Semester PTM Classes:

Pathway to Maturity Sunday evening adult electives begin Sept. 12, 6-7:30 p.m. Fall semester classes include: Discipleship for couples-Jeff and Sherri Kishpaugh; Financial Peace University-Randy Overdorf; Experiencing God's Dream for Your Marriage-Steve and Sandy McCuen; Men's Faternity-Dan Kandel; Titus 2-Mentoring Instruction for Women-Lisa Jennings; Prayer on the Porch-Joe and Ruth Futrell; Theology (God-study to know God better and live a life that reflects that fellowship)-Robert Labrech and josh Simos; and Worldview-Steve Nichols. Sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Center counter.

Ladies Fall Bible Study:

The Ladies Fall Bible Study begins Tuesday, September 7, from 9:15-10:45 a.m. weekly in ABF classroom #6. The study entitled "Jonah-Navigating a Life Interrupted" by Priscilla Shirer, will run through December 14. Childcare is available for children through kindergarten age.
